About Me
My name is Birte and I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, accredited with the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and the German Gesundheitsamt as Heilpraktiker (Psychotherapie). I have been supporting people with mental health difficulties since 2014 and specialised in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for common mental health difficulties, such as anxiety, depression and trauma in 2017. I have been working for charities, the NHS, private hospitals, private psychotherapy services and in my private practice.

I provide confidential psychotherapy in a safe and non-judgemental space so that you can share your experiences, understand why you are feeling a certain way and learn strategies to improve your wellbeing. CBT is a talking therapy that has been shown to effectively treat anxiety, depression and trauma. I will be using these evidence-based interventions to help you manage your difficulties and to support you in reaching your goals.
